Training
Want to get started in drone operations the right way? Air Drone Pilots can provide training for you to learn how to safely and professionally fly your own drone.
A drone or UAS/UAV is not a toy and must be operated properly and most important safely. Though the controls are relatively easy to manipulate there are many considerations involved in order to get the best results. While much is still "up in the air", the FAA is currently planning on requiring registration for drone aircraft in an effort to hold pilots responsible for their actions. Simply not knowing is not an excuse--let us help you do things right and legal.
Our training will cover things like the National Airspace System (NAS), altitude limitations, no-fly zones, airport restricted areas and more--things you need to know to fly legally. We'll also show you basic techniques for using your drone for its primary purpose, getting exciting photos and video.
Don't own a drone yet? Our training can include an intro flight with our DJI Phantom 3, one of the most popular models currently available.
